Long Distance Instructor’s Certification Courses offer school owners, instructors and students a straightforward way to effectively learn, practice and then become certified in basic Japanese swordsmanship. You can smoothly and efficiently incorporate the “way of the sword” into your school’s curriculum as an “add on” or “core” class. Zero to Sixty students excel faster. Most gain a basic understanding of swordsmanship within 60 minutes.
During this Zero to Sixty certification you will learn and practice traditional (wood) and combative (bamboo/ synthetics) kihon with a short sword, a long sword or both together called Nito-Ryu.
You will also hone those traditional and combative skills with the use of the ActionFlex combative swords or bamboo hatsuwari/shinai depending on your level of expertise. Upon certification you will have the working knowledge needed to instruct the program. The Zero to Sixty certification program takes 30 days to complete.
